Welcome to my blog!
Hi there, my name is Emma! I'm an emerging museum professional with a passion for art, history and travel with a cheesy sense of humor. Do you like my blog's name pun? Who doesn't love a good pun!
Formerly an undergraduate at Carleton University, currently enrolled in the Museum Management and Curatorship post-grad program at Fleming college.
I’m a history lover that personally believes art and artifacts can tell us more about history and the world than any textbook can. You just need to look a little deeper. That’s why museums and galleries are so important for everyone to have access to, and why I enjoy museum work so much.
I lived in Japan from 2019 to 2024 working as an Assistant Language Teacher (ALT) for the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) program. This experience helped me understand how important education is not only for students, but for the teachers as well.
I also learned how exhilarating it feels to venture outside your bubble, try new things and travel to new places. The world is a big place with so much to experience, so go out there and learn everything you can. Let the world be your museum!
Take a look!

My MMC year
Being a student with the Museum Management and Curatorial Studies program was a fantastic experience. I learned so much and made some wonderful friends. Take a look at some of those moments here!

Oh the places you'll go
I've had the opportunity to travel to some beautiful and amazing places in the world. I'd love to share some of my travels with you here!
